As a 6.16 m swim platform it gives you 616 x 205 cm on the water and still packs into a single bag. At this length it is usually the bag, more than the extra deck, that settles the decision. If you already use a smaller deck, last summer is the best guide. Think about how often it felt crowded, how often a toy stayed in the garage because there was nowhere to tie it, and who ended up carrying the bag down to the swim platform. Those answers point to the right length more reliably than any deck plan. ## What 616 by 205 cm gives you on the water The width is 205 cm on every deck in the family, so the choice is really about length. At 616 cm there is room for two things to happen at once. Someone can lie in the sun at the far end while swimmers climb out at the end nearest the stern, and nobody has to step over anybody. Sunbathing, waterside dining and mooring several water toys are the uses this deck was designed around, and this is the length at which all three fit into the same afternoon. A low table and a pair of loungers sit at one end without crowding the swim end. Bag and all, it is a shared lift rather than a job for whoever happens to be nearby, so decide in advance where it will be unrolled. On yachts with narrow side decks it usually goes straight down to the swim platform and is opened there. An electric pump turns the inflation into a short job. Set side by side, the middle size gives you roughly half as much deck again as the 4.10 m, while its bag stays clearly smaller and lighter than the bag of the 8.20 m. Put the packed sizes from each product page next to your own locker measurements before you look at anything else. ## Toys it can host alongside swimmers Toys are often what moves an owner from the 4.10 m to this length. The long edge gives a tender, a jet ski or a couple of paddle boards somewhere to lie alongside, while the end nearest the swim ladder stays clear for people getting in and out of the water.
