This guide explains sizes, materials, inflation, safe use and care in plain terms. ## Choosing the right size for your yacht Start with the space you actually have. Measure the width of your stern or swim platform and the clear water behind and alongside the yacht where a floating product can lie without touching the hull, the propellers or other boats. Then consider how many people will use it at the same time and whether you also want to park water toys on it. - **Premium Teak Platform**: 2.05, 4.10, 6.16 and 8.20 m, all 205 cm wide (205 × 205, 410 × 205, 616 × 205 and 820 × 205 cm). The 2.05 m size is the compact choice for smaller yachts; the longer sizes leave room for sunbathing, several swimmers or mooring a jet ski, Seabob, SUP or tender. - **Deluxe Water Pool** (4.10, 6.20 and 8.20 m) and **Ultimate Yacht Pool** (6.16 m): choose by the swimming area you want and the water space available behind the yacht. External dimensions are listed on each product page. - **Yacht slides**: Compact Slide 175-215, Aqua Yachtslides 270-350 cm and 460-540 cm. Each model lists its total height and slide length; compare these with the height of the deck where the slide will be mounted. Platforms are modular. If you are unsure, [contact us](https://dockee.net/contact) with your yacht model and stern measurements. ## Platforms, pools, slides and docks: what each is for - **Floating platforms** (Premium Teak Platform): a stable surface on the water next to your yacht, for sunbathing, swimming, yoga and mooring water toys, with a teak-look, non-slip top surface. - **Yacht pools** (Deluxe Water Pool, Ultimate Yacht Pool): a floating frame with a lounging perimeter around a central swimming area. An integrated fine-mesh net keeps jellyfish, seaweed and floating debris out of the swimming area. - **Yacht slides**: inflatable slides that mount to the side of the yacht and lead from the deck into the water. - **Toy and jet ski docks**: the Jet Ski Duo Park 4.10 m (410 × 300 cm) and the Double Toy Dock 3.10 + 4.10 m hold up to two jet skis, with divided arms that keep them apart. The compact C-Dock (200 × 150 cm) is made for a jet ski, Seabob or e-foil board. The E-Foil Ramp (200 × 200 cm) has a plain textured, non-slip surface without the teak look, made for launching and landing e-foils. - **Lounge pieces and accessories**: Single and Twin Luxe Daybed, Signature Sun Lounger, Relax Corner, Prestige Lounge (410 × 355 cm, optional tent), Water Hammock, AquaStair ladder set, AirLink Tube, Air Cushion, air pumps and 10'6" SUP boards. Platforms, pools and docks use 0.9 mm PVC with drop-stitch fabric; the SUP boards combine drop-stitch fabric with reinforced PVC. The exact material of each product is listed in its specifications. - **Drop-stitch construction**: two layers of fabric joined by a dense array of internal threads. When inflated, the threads hold both surfaces parallel, so the product becomes flat and firm instead of rounding out like a balloon. This is what makes an inflatable platform feel stable underfoot. - **Teak-look surface**: the top of the platforms, pools and jet ski docks is a non-slip surface with the warm look of a teak deck. It is a teak look only, not real wood. - **UV and saltwater resistance**: these products spend long hours in direct sun and sea water, so the materials are chosen to be UV- and saltwater-resistant. ## Inflation and setup Two electric air pumps are available, both compatible with standard 230 V (EU) power: - **Air Pump 500 W**: compact and light, intended for smaller platforms, loungers, cushions and accessories. - **Air Pump 1200 W**: more powerful and intended for large platforms, pools and loungers; it can inflate all Dockee inflatable products. Unfold the product on a clean surface free of sharp objects, make sure the valve is closed for inflation and connect the pump. Inflate to the pressure stated in the product instructions and check it with a pressure gauge; a drop-stitch product should feel firm and rigid when correctly inflated. Recommended pressures differ from product to product, so follow the instructions for your model rather than a general figure. Air expands as it warms, so check the pressure again on hot, sunny days. ## Connecting, mooring and safe use Platforms, pools and docks connect to each other with the AirLink Tube: place the units side by side, inflate the tube until it is rigid, slide it into the connection loops and fasten it with the integrated straps. Check that everything sits tightly so nothing shifts. - Use floating products in calm, sheltered water. Bring them in or secure them well when wind and waves build up. - Tie lines only to strong, suitable fixing points on the yacht and keep them clear of propellers. - Switch off engines and thrusters while anyone is in the water near the stern. - Always supervise swimmers, especially children. A pool net does not replace supervision. - Mount slides as described in their instructions and make sure the landing area is clear before each use. - For getting out of the water, the AquaStair ladder set has four steps and reaches 95 cm below the waterline. ## Care and storage Dockee products are designed for the marine environment and need little maintenance: - Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after contact with salt water and let the product air-dry. - Clean fabrics with a mild soap solution and give the teak-look surfaces a regular, gentle clean to keep their appearance. - Make sure the product is completely dry before you deflate, fold and pack it. - When not in use, store inflatables and covers dry and out of prolonged direct sunlight.
